Sun-chasing, coffee-fueled, and always a little bit sentimental. I’m Katelynn, mama to two girls, wife to my biggest cheerleader, and the soul behind Midsummer Souls Photo Co. When I’m not documenting love stories, you’ll find me exploring with my kids and pups, wandering a new trail, or curled up with a good book and an iced coffee in hand.
I’m drawn to the kind of love that feels deep and honest, the quiet forehead kisses, the wild laughter, the in-between moments you didn’t even realize you wanted remembered. I photograph couples, mamas-to-be, intimate “I do’s,” and families who keep choosing each other, again and again. Based in Colorado, always ready to pack a bag and follow the story wherever it leads.

My fiancé and I are usually so awkward in front of the camera but Katelynn made us feel comfortable during the entire shoot and directed us so well to get the perfect shot. She knew exactly where to go to get that perfect backdrop in both locations we chose. We would definitely love working with her again for our future photography needs!
